As for the Olympics in general, why are you making such a big deal out of
it? The Americans COMPLETELY dominate at the Summer Olympics. And for a
country that doesn’t have ONE particular national pastime as a sport in the
Olympics (Basketball is originally Canadian), you guys do superb. You have
funds that Canada does not. You still manage to win medals in a wider range
of sports than any other nation on the planet, regardless of the season in
which the Olympics are held.
Please, leave hockey to Canada and keep all the other sports. There’s no
need to cry over a sport that barely any American was playing up to the
80’s.
man to man, Canada simply had the far superior players. USA was/is a top
tier, gold potential team, but this Canada team has to go down as one of
THE most organized, professional, cold and ruthless squads sent to ANY
sports tournament. USA realized how difficult it was going to be to
score/make any statement in this game within first 10 mins and played with
their heads-downs for much of the game. Canada was un-stopable for the
gold.

actually terrible. Just a group of average players with 1 star calibre
forward, dman and goalie.
Haha since when do you count the total in the medals race. Most golds win
obv. It’s not like 4 bronze medals are Worth more then 3 golds.

Dude, the USA, Finns, Russians, Swedes are ALL world class teams and
excellent. HOWEVER Canada is world dominant! 2002, 2010, (2014?)
The sun rises in the East, the birds still tweet, the cows still moo,
and Canada dominates the USA in hockey….glad to see the natural order of
the universe is in balance.
Sweden WILL crush Canada!
