  1. Am I supposed to believe that this little man is smart because he is
dictating words being fed to his ears through an audio headset? What’s
really in the hat? I mean you all don’t really think he memorized this
speech do you? I certainly don’t. Of course everything he dictates is very
interesting. And I definately do not agree with happiness being acquired
through religious practices, so if you are pressing Christianity “like most
people do,” then thumbs down to that mumbo jumbo bologna. I wish you luck
at trying to teach children how to be happy when they are poor, hungry,
only have one parent, gangbanging bullies at school, and no real future
insight, because you’re gonna need it. What an ear tickler, I wonder who
    wrote it all.

  2. alphanumericlogic, obviously he wears the hat because he likes it. If you
have pay attention to this video, you would realise that he has his hat on
even at home doing homework. Just believe that a 13 year old boy is able to
achieve somethinh on his own. Have a little faith in humanity.

  3. If you haven’t already watched this, you might want to… it is quite
interesting. What if education were hacked? How would you hack your
    education?

  4. look this dude rocks and i would really like to chat with him or contact
him at any time whether on facebook, twitter email just talk to him can
    somebody help me?? :)

  5. I’m a homeschool mom and I love the passion in this talk! We are
not privileged as some people suggested, but we do take full advantage of
our community events, local libraries, other homeschoolers, co-ops, local
nature centers, science centers and more. My son is thriving! He’s
well-adjusted, social and his dreams are high.
Not everyone can homeschool, but his point is good that formal education
can be a mindset not a set curriculum. Our teachers need to be given the
freedom to do this instead of forcing memorization, to pass tests, to show,
what I still can’t wrap my head around, and the ability to let individual
kids be themselves, not what society says!
Remember, compulsory public education isn’t that old of a practice.
Massachusetts was the first in 1852 to pass compulsory school laws and it
wasn’t until 1918 that all American children were required to finish at
    least elementary school.
This all boils down to my opinion and yours, but we live in America where
we still, BOTH have that right. These kids are our future and we need to
do the best we can for ALL of them!

  6. And We had certainly given Luqman wisdom [and said], “Be grateful to Allah
.” And whoever is grateful is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And
whoever denies [His favor] – then indeed, Allah is Free of need and
    Praiseworthy.

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqman said to his son while he was
instructing him, “O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah .
Indeed, association [with him] is great injustice.”

And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried
him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two
years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final]
    destination.

But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have
no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with
appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in
repentance]. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about
    what you used to do.

[And Luqman said], “O my son, indeed if wrong should be the weight of a
mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in
the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle and
    Acquainted.

O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and
be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters
    [requiring] determination.

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk
through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone
    self-deluded and boastful.

    Sahih International
And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most
disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys.” (Q.S. Luqman : 12-19)

  7. We love home school!!! The ability to be intimately involved in our child’s
everyday life is so rewarding. Check out this awesome TED Talks, about
education and how breaking out of traditional education can give your
children the opportunity to focus on their passions and talents.
