  1. This video is too bias towards the “right wing”.
Personally i despise both Democrats and Republicans. So here is a non bias
table that i learned in college.

The right spectrum to use is the:Total Government and No Government
    spectrum.

    Lean towards Total Government:
    Socialism
    Communism
    Oligarchy
    Fascism
    Dictatorship
“Democrats, US Liberal” For a politically uneducated term.

    Lean towards No Government:
    Anarchy
    Libertarian
“Republican, US Conservative, Tea Party” For a politically uneducated term.

    This is Political Science 101.

  2. As an anarchist myself, I can clarify that anarchism has historically been
a far-left position associated with radical socialist currents and the
labour movement. The ‘anarcho’-capitalists that have emerged on the
internet in recent years are a relatively new phenomenon.

  3. I was Independent but I switched sides to Republicans . I believe what’s
    right , what’s fair , pro-life pro-Guns , pro-bible , & everyone should
have health insurance, nothing like Obama-care but a fair health insurance
where everyone can afford . And I believe in our Military & everyone in
America has a right to eat what ever they want & not in force something on
you to make you eat a better life style !

  4. I consider myself Libertarian, which by definition, should be somewhere on
the extreme right, but a lot of us get pegged as being ultra-leftists.
(Remember the debate moderators asking Ron Paul if he was “in the wrong
party?”) She is right about the left-right spectrum changing when based on
single issues, but while the issue of economic regulation is the most
important issue, most of the mainstream media clings to same-sex marriage
as the sole line of demarcation between left and right (which shouldn’t
even be an issue in the first place, as marriage of any kind is a
    ridiculous thing to institutionalize).

For years, I’ve been talking about the importance of free-market capitalism
and deregulation and the problems with the income tax system, but every
time someone realizes that I DON’T hate gays, they automatically consider
    me “liberal.”

  5. The idea of Natural Rights did not come from John Locke. It comes from
Natural Law Theory, which is Anceint, goign back to well before the Greek
Philosophers, who all poke of it. Aristotle and Plato operated on a Natural
    Laws basis…

This woman was infleucned by Skousen too much, with “Big VS Small
Government” as a model for Left and Right…and the supposition fo Americas
Foudners beign ont he Right. (THough Skousen actually said they were
    centrists.)

    Bah.

  6. This video is hilariously bias towards the right wing.

The Republican party has NOT been pushed to the left, it was traditionally
far more left than it is now, over time it has moved further and further to
the far-right, the massive shift occurred mostly in the 70s and 80s.
Eisenhower would be called a goddamn Communist in modern media.

Most political parties move towards the right wing, because power in
concentrated in the right wing as the right owns most of the media, the
right owns businesses and controls the money.

Also those “Natural rights” are not real at all. Inequality was formed out
of relations in production. The right does not believe that one “Owns their
product which they can sell” In a Capitalist system, people are forced to
sell their labour time below it’s worth to a capitalist, who alienates a
person from their means of production.
Socialists believe that only in the common, can society truly benefit from
their own means of production as they see the fruit of their labour
    reinvested into the community.

  7. Great video, Corrina.
I’d classify myself as a libertarian, or fiscal conservative.
I just want to be left alone. I don’t like EITHER side getting in my face
    over their issues.
There are plenty of people on both sides of the spectrum that see eye to
eye on most issues. The problem is, the media has to keep the fires stoked,
so, they won’t address that aspect.

  8. Seeing as I care for the rights of the people and don’t want anyone to get
fucked by big government, I am a Libertarian

  9. People like to say this is biased to the right wing. Lets cut the bullshit,
these are just facts. Hard work will bring a comfortable living. Thats why
right wing economics promotes hard work, while left wing promotes leeching
    off of government provision
